Samsung Launches One UI 9 Beta for Galaxy S26 Series Worldwide

Samsung has officially kicked off the One UI 9 beta programme for its flagship Galaxy S26 series, making the early software build available to registered users across multiple markets globally. The announcement comes as Samsung continues to push aggressively on AI-powered mobile software in a highly competitive flagship smartphone segment.

One UI 9 is expected to bring significant AI enhancements across photography, productivity, and on-device intelligence. The beta follows Samsung's wider momentum in the semiconductor space — the company is a key supplier of high-bandwidth memory chips powering AI data centres globally, a position generating internal labour pressure around profit-sharing as South Korea's AI chip boom lifts expectations.

Samsung confirmed the beta is available for Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. Users can enrol through the Samsung Members app. A stable public release of One UI 9 is expected to roll out to older Galaxy devices in the months ahead following the conclusion of the beta testing cycle.
